Re Taxi/Shuttle Fare from Airport to Nusa 12 years ago taxi fares are cheap. just outside the international terminal there is a taxi counter to the right with prices on the board. you pay and they give you a ticket and the driver will walk you to the taxi. it is a bit confusing at first ie the taxi driver walks at break neck speed while you are slow due to luggage but everything will be fine. prices are round about 60 oo rupiah. about $6-7AUD. same from nusa dua to kuta. use a taxi with metre. You will get guys wanting to carry your luggage for you - and its fine if you want the help. But just beware of what notes you give them as tip - guys we got gave their game away by asking for specific notes although we were watching out anyway. He is with Blue Bird I feel bad because Blue Bird gives him so little of the money he earns though and sometimes he actually comes out at a loss! We tipped him because we liked him so much and he is working so hard to provide for his family; with tip from Nusa Dua to Kuta we gave him IDR 100,000, I think that's around 10 or 11 Aussie dollars? If you want him to take you when you get there he's great and his English is good; you can sit and quietly enjoy the ride or he will tell you about his family and what life is like for him; I learned a lot about the culture from him. His mobile number is 081 337 299 924, or if you want to call him from outside of Bali it's +62 81 337 299 924. If you need to go anywhere in Nusa Dua we called him every time and he always came and picked us up straight away; the longest we would have to wait was 30 minutes if he was in Kuta area. Gus turned up early, he was like a tour guide and a mate ! He is very knowledgeable about the area and would go the extra mile to make sure he made you feel comfortable in every environment. My two daughters loved and trusted him and so did my wife and I. He was always punctual, and gave us advice on what additional items to bring on our adventures towels, bug spray, etc.. He was easily accessible with WhatsApp. If we had any questions on our adventures he would call the location for us to answer all questions. He even coordinated our massages!!! His prices are better than what we found elsewhere...almost double and there were no hidden charges. His car was always clean and reliable. Tripadvisor performs checks on partner and I had an absolutely amazing experience from the start of our holiday to the very end, all thanks to Legros! If I could give more than five stars, I would. This was our first time traveling to Bali; we traveled with a few others, and I must say that we were a bit nerve wrecked about being in a new environment where we didn’t know the language. However, Legros made us feel beyond comfortable and helped us navigate our way through a wonderful itinerary, effortlessly. He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kindhearted, to say the least. I truly have never met a human being with a more beautiful, genuinely selfless soul than Legros. Communicating with him was always super easy and he made sure that our transportation needs were always met - he would literally arrive hours before our pickup time and didn’t mind waiting whenever the group was running a bit behind schedule. The minibus we were driven in was also very clean, spacious and air conditioned. Not only did Legros make following our itinerary simple, but he even made additional recommendations of places for us to visit and to dine at and accommodated our every need, even if it was a last-minute thing like stopping at a mart or currency exchange. I couldn’t be happier with the decision to book Legros for our holiday and would 1000% book him again.
